colour pallettes
I saw a blue,it waved at me,
I saw a green,it touched my face,
I saw a red,it flowed by,
I saw a purple,it embraced me...
They came,they went,
They danced all night.
Leavin their colourful footprints
By my bedside...
Morning came n along came grey,
With dashes of brown slashed through,
I looked in my heart in search of them,
A black smiled back...

the beauty of this poem lies in the story that each color shares with the reader.
ReplyDelete"a black" is what we find inside when we look and laughs at us when we try to hold on to the colors of the night in the greydom of our lives...
a beautiful work. keep writing.
